Students Can Earn Community Service Hours Through Cell Phone Recycling

The proceeds from the recycling program will benefit a “partner” nonprofit organization.

Enroll Online.1 There is no cost to participate.

We “match” you with a local nonprofit “partner”, or you select the nonprofit “partner” of your choice.

You will receive a recycling kit in 2-5 business days. Your kit will include instructions, “free shipping” labels and color posters.
You collect cell phones from your community. Get great ideas & free posters at:

Cell phones are shipped to Shelter Alliance. We pay for all freight costs.
Your cell phones are recycled through our zero landfill recycling process.
You will earn 1 community service hour for every 5 recycled cell phones. (100 cell phones = 20 hours!)
Shelter Alliance will mail you a Community Service Hours Certificate.
We will contribute up to $30 (or more) per phone to your “partner” nonprofit.
